Today we went to the workroom to learn about some different food groups like the Legumes, Brassica, Leafy Greens and more. I also learned that the peanut, isn't actually a nut but it is just a normal legume because a nut would have one seed and the peanut has 2 so that makes it a legume. The name of the lady that taught us about food 4 thought is Jemma. We also played a quick game where we had to test our skills of food eating and the trick was we needed to eat a part of a food but we needed to be blindfolded and we need to guess what food it is. Hi guys, welcome to my tutorial on how to do a drop punt and we learned this skill when we were doing AFL (Australian Football League).

*CLAP* The race began and everyone started running to win and some people even started SPRINTING ! even though they knew they would stop, and walk. My friend in the photo had come first place and was really tired when he got there everyone was cheering him on and when he finished he felt so relieved.

Have you ever wondered what makes day and night ?

If you have I have all your answers for all your questions about what causes day and night to how far the sun is from us.

Our earth is a sphere and half of our earth is day because of the sun and the other half is night because of the shadow that the sun casts. The earth takes 24 hours to finish one rotation around the sun an example of how this works is that if U.S.A. is on the day side of the earth then India is on the night side .

The earth rotates on it’s axis that goes through the earth and the two poles, the North Pole & The South Pole. The sun is 140,000,000 km away from us and if you wanted to go to the sun and back down to earth as fast as possible you would need a car that goes at the speed of light because it takes 8 light minutes to get to the sun and back to earth.

You would think that Mercury is the hottest planet in the solar system but its not because mars has gas clouds that trap in the heat to keep it as hot as a volcano. Mars also has the most vlocanoes in the solar system.

There are four Gas Giants that all have rings around them and their names are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Jupiter’s Great Red Spot is actually a really huge wind storm and Jupiter has over 60 moons.

Neptunes wind storm is 3x as fast as a hurricane on earth. The five dwarf planet’s names in our solar system are Pluto, Ceres, Haumea, Makemake and Eris.

THE MONSTER CLIMBING WALL

As I watched my friends climb the wall my heart started pounding furiously  knowing that I was next. Ace's arm's were tired and Hamish's arms were still trying but slowly giving out. When it came to me I looked up and the only thing that I saw was a monster climbing wall that was taller than a house I felt I wanted to conquer this wall like everyone else.

It came to my turn and I was NERVE WRECKED my friends conquered it & I wanted to become like them so badly !!!. I started climbing foot by foot, hand by hand it was getting harder by the second & my muscles were shaking. so  I couldn't lift an arm or leg, I knew it would come down to this.

When I heard everyone shouting me to go farther I went a little more but that was it! My arms & legs gave out, I was losing my grip. The only thing that was going through my mind was that this was actually fun because I love a good challenge.  That's when I realized that it’s was why they called it the monster climbing wall.

I told them I was tired & if they could let me down so my muscles could rest. I didn't make it to the top but I gave it my all. I started watching others as I walked to the belay team and started pulling the rope so that Reuben didn't fall when his arms or legs gave out.
